Any way to have more than 20 people?

Heya, is there any way to have more than 20 people in Kenshi?

I am doing some RPing here and kinda need ... more people (that I can control). At least 10 more.

If a mod is available, kindly let me know, thank you.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think through the construction set you can edit the player squad size. I think the main issue people were running into was framerate and the ui not being able to handle more than about 30.

There is no way to get more than 20 members in your squad without modding in order to alter the squad limit.
Multiple squads are already planned for the future on the Roadmap.

there is also a Mod that lets you go over. but after a certain point and screen resolution you will only be able to select so many from their portraits.
It should be easily found in the modding Forum.

I didn't know there was a setting for the squad limit. My only attempts involved creating alternate starts with the number of members I wanted.

What about the constant crashing? I'd doubt the game would handle that. It can barely handle the current cap now lol
