The tale of Swordmaster Lorenzo.

Just thought I'd make a story partly inspired by my antics in Kenshi and the rest being complete fiction as I wish to express my creativity.
I awoke. My bare back was caressed by the sandy dune, my bare chest and face were warm from the heat of the setting sun, its last rays disappearing beneath the un-ending sea of sand. I eased my weight onto my shoulders and raised myself up. The serene desert's appeal was broken by the view just up from my point on the dune. A cluster of bodies lay before me, some wearing simple clothing and sandals, others in blue uniforms wearing battered armour plates covering their vitals and sword arms. Most of their scabbards lay empty and discarded across the dune. I checked my own, also empty. I also now become aware the wound in my left leg, little more than a niggling feeling in thigh until I looked at the extent of the damage; my left thigh was slashed from knee to near my pelvis. I felt for some bandages in my right pocket and quickly applied them. I dragged myself to the nearest corpse, took his shirt, armour and Katana and prepared to walk to the nearest City.
Feedback will be welcomed.
