Lo-Fi Games

It seems I can't build anywhere. Not near towns or far away from them. I either get the 'too close to town', 'can't build close to another building' or the 'ground is not level enough' error. Walked around half of the map and nowhere seems to be okay. Can anyone help me solve this?

I'm using the 0.74.32 version through steam.

I used to get that but it would usually clear up if you exit and reload.
Might try and update to the newest 75.3 have not had that issue in this version.

Thanks I will try to reload. If it doesn't work any tips on how to update? Since I've got steam I'm guessing that I can just manually drop the files into my steamapps/.. folder.
