Lo-Fi Games

Hey yall. Just bought Kenshi (although the new update on filefront "seems to be unavailable"?) and the game doesn't seem to recognize my nvidia card -- the only graphics option is for the built in Intel chip, which is basically worthless. It shouldn't be an Optimus issue as I have that disabled. Any tips on how to get Kenshi to see my card?

This belong in Bug section also I have no clue why, I'll let someone more clever than me figure that out. the 560 dont have any issues though.

Maybe a driver issue, updating may help. Also uninstall completely the useless onboard chip, that might help. Do you have trouble with any other games?

The new update is also unavailable to you? Same here. Where, might I ask, do you live in the world? Maybe that could be an issue of some sort?

No, not since I disabled the Intel chip. Didn't know I could uninstall it, though. I'll try that.

Blxz- Got the newest update late last night, although I had to retry a bunch of times before it actually let me dl. I'm in the US.

Can't be a location thing then. I am on the opposite side of the world.

Well apparently even though the settings page shows Intel HD chip as the GPU, it's actually using my real card. Glad you got ahold of the update blxz.
