I'm planning to have my town right in the middle of Holy Nation territory, and I unfortunately have some undesirables in my party. I didn't realise they'd be attacked on sight when I invented them, but I kinda like the idea of running a haven for people in the middle of Holy Nation territory. This raises a problem though, I will need to interact with my unenlightened neighbours from time to time, in particular while operating my favoured town defense tactic, which is just running to the nearby town.
Does faction disguise overwrite the Holy Nation's racism? If I disguise the Shek and Skeleton as Holy Nation can they walk into the town? I know I can carry them in, but while I can believe that in the case of the Skeleton, the Shek is immersion breaking.
Disguise nonhumans as human?

The Shek have the horns so would be rather difficult to disguise them as anything but Shek. not saure how thats immersion breaking though.
But if you dress others in stolen Armour its possible you could sneak others in??

I'm referring to the fact that you can apparently get Skeletons and Shek into Holy Nation towns by just carrying them in, as they ignore anything being carried like that. For the Skeleton that makes sense, you're just dragging some scrap in, or they don't care about a non-autonomous robot, but for the Shek I don't buy that they'd look the other way like that.

I think of it like "holy nation guys dont care as long as a proper okran human is in-control of the beast"A Space Ostrich wrote:I'm referring to the fact that you can apparently get Skeletons and Shek into Holy Nation towns by just carrying them in, as they ignore anything being carried like that. I started as a Shek and it dropped me right in the middle of the big northeast holy city of lag. I didn't know that the holy roller types liked killing nonhumans (or women) randomly at the time, and happened to walk into a bar and hire a male human 700c noobmerc within the first 30-60 seconds of play. So I then wandered around with the two of them and heard some random comments about keeping my beasts under control and stuff I didn't really understand, but everything was fine.
After a bit, my human's legs were really hurting so I had him go lay down at the bar and started wandering around with the Shek, who soon got attacked by All The Guards Ever (tm) and started running around the countryside...
