Loaded up my game after I got back from work today and suddenly the game looks like the Matrix with a bunch of random letters and other characters imprinted on the landscape. It did not cover my characters though which was odd. Was there a stealth update made today? I verified my drivers were up to date, reinstalled the game completely, reloaded a few times all with no luck. If needed I can go ahead and submit a bug report with a screenshot if needed but hoping this has a quick fix lol... getting the Kenshi addict blues :P

Though the game runs smoother I give it that. I just can't see much!

Well in any case starting a new game with same characters by importing option at start menu fixed the issue. Is there any downside currently to using this feature?

Some people have not realised that it is a new game. This means that anything you build or change in the game world will be gone. I guess you might think this is a downside if you have a nice base already built.

Post a screenshot, i'll move this to the bug report afterwards (who knows, maybe you were drunk and it's nothing  )

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

Its a little bit hard to tell because of the screenshot coming out a little bit smaller than I wanted but I am South East of Clownsteady. I was able to find two ways to fix this. One to load a new game importing my characters and the second being to just move out of the area until I get a loading message then it goes back to normal. I saved my save folder in another directory and can attach it to this if that is helpful in a .zip file. Let me know if you want it or any other information. The game was working perfectly fine up to this point excepting a few minor bugs here and there.

Are you saying that the error is part of that savegame? I'll have a look at the save then, but I'd say that looks like a video card/driver error to me.

I'm not discounting that. The thought crossed my mind, however, this was the only time the error happened. It only occurred once I saved my game and quit then came back the next day. It vanished when I moved to another area and got a loading screen and I continued the game and am still playing it without seeing this error again.

I will edit this post once I get home from work and post my system specs as well as the save game for you to look at just in case. I do know I am currently using a GEFORCE 7600 GS which is a pretty lame video card. Planing on building a new PC soon so its no biggie if this is the cause of it.

Oh driver I am using is the latest NVIDIA driver download for this card on their website. 301.42 - WHQL is what I found the version number to be listed on their website.
