Imported team into new world. Game loaded world, placed camera nowhere near team's location in Brink, and then hard-locked. Required Taskman kill on the process. Second import attempt worked, camera still in funky location.
Quicksave simply using F5 crashed the game (in Brink no less), no crashdump created. The only operation I had performed in the newly imported game, was to purchase a new first aid kit, and sell the old ones from prior game versions to a vendor.
Edit:
Medic button function is verified broken. After squad import to new game, replacing first aid and splint kits in inventory with new ones from vendor, fighting new battle.. the Medic button initiates first aid on one (1) character and terminates with other squad members still needing first aid.
Kenshi still locks up on exit request via menu. No crashdmp created.
0.30.4 Feedback
I keep telling people that it doesn't matter whether the medkits/splintkits are new or old, splintkits cause the medic button to not work. Don't ask me how or why, because I have no idea. All I know is that if you want to be able to use the medic button, don't have splintkits in that character's inventory.

Been loving the game. Noticed some crashing with saving 0.30.4. Otherwise it's running good. Can't tell if it only happens if you save while an action is happening.
It doesn't matter to US what works and what doesn't work. This forums is for Chris' edification, and so he can figure out what bugs plague the game.Marrow wrote:I keep telling people that it doesn't matter whether the medkits/splintkits are new or old, splintkits cause the medic button to not work. Latrell can't confirm your comment about splint kits. So there might be something about my game or squad after all. If splint kits break the Medic function in YOUR game, that is also worth noting since apparently they don't in Latrell's.
I don't currently have time to double check it, as I'm slammed with work this week. Running into the same bugs from version to version puts a damper on new bug hunting time as well.
What would be really nice (coming from a scripter) is Chris posting AI routines kicked off by things like this UI button. That would allow us to step through them for him, and help troubleshoot beyond simply playing the game (and coming up with three different bug reports).
