Kenshi doessn't update

I bought Kenshi on gamersgate.com, but the update system won't work.. does someone have a solution?
(But I still love the game)

What version do you have? The key you have should work on Kenshi regardless of the install source, so you may be able to just download it from this site and install and have it update properly.

Well, one thing to be aware of is that Kenshi's autoupdater will not tell you the latest version number even if you're updated. For example, I'm still told by Wyupdate that "Kenshi .22 is up to date" when I run it. What happens exactly when you run Wyupdate in the directory? Are you behind a firewall, do you use a Proxy that might be interfering with the updating process? Have you tried downloading the version of Kenshi from http://www.indiedb.com/games/kenshi/dow ... enshi-0296 and seeing if that will update?

when I run wyUpdate it says "searching for updates to Kenshi.22. this process could take a few minutes." but it won't find them
