"Closing Processes" When trying to update

So I haven't played in a bit, so naturally when starting up the game I have some updating to do. It gives me the option to update and when I click it everything seems normal but around the 25% mark a window comes up and says "closing processes" and the only processes it's closing is Kenshi's updating. This window is from the updating client as well, not something on my computer.

Anyone else have this problem?

that's normal. close the process (Kenshi), keep it going, it should update just fine.
