I don't know if this has been stated already, but a quick search has brought up nothing.
I was running from some bandits a little while ago and when I tried to give my character a new movement order by right clicking, my character seemed to have just forgotten that order for a second or two and started fighting the bandits instead of doing what I want him to do. After that initial second or two he did the correct order.

I think this might be connected to the poor/buggy pathfinding. I've noticed several smaller issues with pathfinding, as well as some big ones.
Examples:
1. Characters choosing to go out of a gate i my settlement, run around the settlement to the other side, open the gate there and enter settlement, then he proceeds with whatever I ordered him to do.
2. Characters insisting on going in almost the exact opposite direction of the move order for a while, before turning and proceeding to the "correct" location.
3. Characters going straight through walls, buildings etc.
