I thought I'd report this rather odd bug.

In 42.1 I was building something with about 15 characters, when I noticed that one of them had somehow got "stuck" in another. I could not move him, although I could access his gear and stuff.

The only way he could move was by moving the other character he was stuck in. The game crashed just after and it has not happened since.

I have personally not encountered a crash because of this, however selecting both and move both at the same time or get one of your other squad members run through them can(might take a few tries) get them separated again. I believe combat will make them separate from eachother also(haven't tested).

Have you tried getting someone to pick up one of them, or one to pick up the other? I use this nifty trick to rescue guys that glitch under houses.

I had the same problem just yesterday. Two of my workers got stuck in each other just randomly while one was harvesting wheat, and the other working the well next to him.

The only way discovered that I could get them unstuck is to let them get hit by some bandits and let one of them get knocked down. After that, they were unstuck and the problem hasn't happened again for many hours of further playing.

save and load, characters then split up, interesting bug, not annoying or game breaking if there is a higherarchy of bugs to sort out.

I also have gotten this issue a couple of times with joined characters but saving and reloading from main menu (which respawns and replaces all characters/npcs) or picking 1 up and putting back down with a different character works for me

i have also had this issue and here is how it happened.
I gathered all my characters together to build a outpost III they all started to work on it. then i went in side my new building. and made beds, thats when i noticed 6 of my characters where stuck together.
I also have a easy in game fix.
once you right mouse button hold over one of the characters untill you get the pick up option. then pick that one up then drop him. that fixes the two from being stuck together but not the actuall problem that causes it.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

UPDATE: I just got 4 PC's stuck together, eventually Picking Up and Putting Down each of them got them separated, but now 1 of them has INSANELY fast speed :x

Maybe he's quantum entangled with another squad member

Reloading hasn't fixed this super speed? That may be a bug worth looking into, can you zip up and upload your save file in case Chris is curious?

Unable to reproduce the issue after restarting the game. But man that was fun! :D
Speed record: Brink to Shark and back in 2 seconds
