Crafting List GUI is Short

General BUG report

The crafting list on the lefthand side of the crafting gui popup window is to long and the bottom of it is cut off by the gui window. As a result the very last recipe on the crafting list cannot be seen or selected or crafted. My screen resolution is 1680x1050 (16:10) Fullscreen and changing from fullscreen to window mode or changing resolutions doesn't make any difference either. Seems the only solution is for Chris to change to inner box size of the crafting list of the GUI crafting popup window ingame.

Yeah i am experiencing the same kind of problems with the in game GUI. When i run the game as default size as screen (2560x1600) i can only see like the first 6-8 weapon recipies, i did lower it down to a really lower screen res (somewhere in the 1900 x? range) in full window mode and saw about 10 extra craftable weaons I did not even know i could make.

I will test with all resolutions later when i get home, to see which would be best for to to switch to when I want to craft weapons.

It seems that the setting for my defaut resoulution isnt programmed into the game yet, but hey it's ok its still alpha.

Not sure your talking about the same thing what I meant is the inner window border of just the recipe list on the lefthand side of the crafting GUI window goes BELOW the bottom of the GUI window. Seems the last crafting list entry on mine is always displayed BELOW and outside bottom of the GUI window as a result you can't see or select or craft that item in the crafting list even though you have unlocked it. Changing resolutions on mine does not seem to make any difference to this issue on mine.

I suck at explaining things so you might not have understood but I hope that makes it a little clearer as to what I mean the issue is for me.

What I think I understand is happening with yours alildevil correct me if I am wrong is that once the crafting list has more recipes then can be shown on screen you can't see them. Different screen resolutions will resize the main GUI window to suit the new resolution there by increasing or reducing the amont of lines that can be shown in the GUI popup window. What you might not have noticed is there is a scrollbar that displays just to the right of the crafting list when this happens that you can drag up and down to see all but the very last recipe which is listed outside the GUI's border as far as I can tell see my 1st paragraph and previous post for details.

Hope I understood your post and that clarifies things a bit let me know if I was incorrect or misunderstood or can be of any further assistance

I do know about the scroll-bar, in the following screen shots below.
Here is a few of the examples, of what I am talking about...

This is my normal resolution 2560x1600 (2048x1536 & 1920x1440 look the same as 2560x1600)
Now as you can see the scroll bar is at its lowest place and the last selectable weapon is shown on screen, this one is a
Straight Cleaver (Hacker Class) Model # Mk IV with a max damage of 1.3 +1.1

But as soon as I select the resolution of 1920x1200 or lower - I mean even down to 1078x768(BTW there was 13 of them), the last selectable item from the list is the
Straight Cleaver (Hacker Class) [Model # Mk III] with a lower damage of 1.2 + 1

I mean I'm good playing at the 3 upper resolutions , but I still wonder are there other other items that I cant see. Maybe adding about 10 or 20 blank slots at the bottom of the crafting list would be a quick fix. I would think that the list would scroll down far enuf, so when u hit the blank slots you at least know that your at the bottom of the list, could be helpful.

But I am sure that someday,I will be able to see the list properly at 2560x1200

BTW when testing all of the different resolutions, I came upon this one
Which is 1920x1080 it has the lower model weapon

It was the first tine that I could actually read the crafting list, where I could see all the fonts displayed properly.

I see exactly what you meant now yes your right can't say I noticed that when I changed resolutions on mine but it is probably tied into the same bug I reported with the last line missing yes good catch and thanks for the screenies and deeper explaination much clearer now

Diffently something funky going on there and resolutions do seem to affect the issue as you correctly pointed out Hopefully it will be addressed soon and add a fix or at least a workaround like you suggested as a placeholder fix in the next patch but at least should be aware of the problem now thanks for your correction and input hopefully it helps the dev

There is an issue with the scrolling of the window. It will never display that last item in the list.

Yeah, but I know this is only alpha, so things like this are expected.
