3 of my slaves got stuck ontop of that mountain and now can't get back down:P
This is what i did:
1. I sent a slave to Heft meaning my slaves had to run through some mountain areas to get from my settlement to there (i wanted to train up str).
2. I gave 7 slaves a large traders backpack and filled it with building materials.
3. I told my slaves to run to heft.
4. They started running as they should, but when they entered the mountain areas they started running in all kinds of different directions.
5. I decided to not check up on them for a while and just let them run with the result that 3 of them ended up on that mountain waay close to my settlement for some reason (last i checked up on them they were half way to Heft).
I will not ask slaves to run independently anymore if they choose to escape to a rock where i can't send any soldiers to get them back. My slaves still have plenty of work to do, so hanging out on a rock won't work for me^^
I know that i can just import the squad and settlement to a new game, but i just wanted to show this here.
3 slaves somehow got ontop of a mountain that is unpassable.

It has been my observation that occasionally when you are in another cell of the map and you've got characters running about in another, the ones who the camera is not focused on will do things they could not normally otherwise do, like enter buildings that are otherwise broken. I imagine it's something to do with the away the pathing system utilizes the navmesh, but whatever it is I've seen oddities before if never anything that stranded my people on a plateau. Are you certain that every inch of the plateau's border wasn't traversable? I have gone about in those areas and seen my men avoid a steep incline only to run straight up a vertical cliff face in the past.
