Navigation problems

Hello!
I'm loving this game, but I've encountered an issue that is blocking me from progressing.
My characters seem to get stuck when trying to navigate to some places.
For example, I was trying to travel to another unvisited town far ahead, but when I click to the place I want them to go, the characters after a certain point just stop. They follow always the same single path, even though the area is big and obstacle-free, and get stuck at some point, making it impossible to reach certain places.
Is there a known fix to this? As far as things are currently, I can't visit half of the southern towns.

it has popped up in the past.
has encountered it myself recently.

not right now

just submit a report on it and where you encountered it and if it stayed when reloading your game.
