Weapon swap/change thingy ...

Since i dont know how to call it...

After making a couple of edge 5 weapons i stored em in the largest traders bag when trying to swap em around if i use 1 weapon on a stack of other weapons in the bag all the stacked weapons swap to the 1 weapon i put on top...

Well ok it doesnt swap if its a different version then it just gives u the same amount of the stacked amount

haha no im telling you that you can change 5 stacked shitty weapons to 5 good weapons just by putting the good weapon on top of the 5 shitty stacked weapons in a traders back pack

So you're saying that the stack of items will change its Grade to that of that item being place upon them, so long as the two items are identical..?

no it can swap katanas into cleavers if u put a cleaver on top

i didnt try to downgrade it but the stacked weapons will turn into the weapon u put on top...



Example: So u got 5 katanas model 3 in your traders backpack u drag a fragment axe edge 5 ontop of it and release u will have 6 fragment axes edge 5 in your traders backpack..

That issue is worse than I thought, I believe it may be an unintended side effect of the new code to merge medkits.

Bringing this thread back, as it appears that this issue was not entirely fixed by recent patches.

Was just able to turn 1 Long Cleaver into 2 Long Cleavers by placing the initial Long Cleaver on top of an Assassins Rag and "absorbing" it.

I just registered to report this... sort of. This bug isn't just working with stacking a weapon on another stack of weapons. I just replaced a stack of metal bars with a stack of katanas. This seems to work with anything that's stackable.

Confirming that you can have SIX of X item in a Traders Backpack, put ONE of Y item onto the X stack, and you now have SIX Y. You can keep doing this over and over.

Haven't tested since the update this morning. It was the version that was before 0.67.2 (0.67.1?)
