Game crash when click on button to build a buidling

I am having a great time experiencing all the new features as a returning player from quite a while back. So many new things!

However unfortunately when I try to build, the game crashes. More specifically, as you can see on the attached screenshot, when I click on the build button, then click on "BUILDINGS", then click on any kind of building (in this case, a "SMALL SHACK"); the moment I click on "SMALL SHACK", the message box of "Kenshi has crashed" pops up.

I have the same problem when I try clicking on the campfire - instant crash

Does any one else have this problem, or even better - have a solution? Thanks!!

can you please add your crashdump.zip
if the game didn't create one then zip up your Kenshi.log and upload that in its place.

This is the invalid materials bug again. Delete your data/materials folder and re-validate on steam.
