I had an issue with my guys when they picked any one up they could not move. An then when they put that person down they still could not move. So did an import figured I was just out of date. But ran into the same issue.

That's a strange one. Can you provide us with some more information? For example: where they standing near any structures, were they inside a building, did their encumberance levels change when picking up the other character, and did you try using the navmesh rebuilder (ctrl+shift+F11) when it happened to see if it fixed it?

In the meantime, you can get around this by using the "reset squad position" feature, which *should* put them all in a location they can move from, on the ground.

If its relevant, this has happened to me multiple times across a save file. Pretty much every time I pick someone up, I have to save and reload (dont need to use the reload squad position though) before it will let me move that character.

Was happening in 95.21, and is still happening in 95.24.

Has occured no matter where I've been, including in a few different towns, my own outpost, the middle of no where etc.

Did not try the navmesh, but will bear that in mind

I reclogged after that happened and it seemed to be fixed. Was going great. An when it did happen though rare just did a relog and it was fixed. But now it seems to have come back with a vengeance. Every time I pic some one up it happens now. My men are in my base training with some inquisitor prisoners and every time they put them back in there cell the men no longer move. But when I do a relog I can then move them. It is odd bug they will rotate as in they want to move in that direction but they will not move. I will have to try it with my other men. I have noticed it happening the most with my Shek heavy armored members will try it with the lighter armored humans and see if maybe it is some equipment has a bug in it or just the race.

Lol I hit the navmesh thing every time I see an issue. I have been playing this game enough to see that as my best friend to fix most issue. Also have seen issues were some of my men will stop at one location in the base and not move. I have had to change that one character from that job and put another on it and it is fixed. That or just remove an idem from that location.

Yes seems this bug is only on the shek in my group. The human warriors have no problems.

I have added a copy of the save file in zip form if I did it right.
