I imported a game as the game has updated to v 0.98.42. I had to untick the buildings and the research progress on the Import UI as not doing so results in empty buildings. Well, it went fine; the game loaded with NPCs but... now the stone ores are missing.

Doing prospecting reveals the stone ores are in the area but they can't be interacted with and they are invisible. Here's a screenshot:

My prospecting guy is standing on the exact same spot where before a stone ore stood. The Prospecting screen still shows a green area but the ore is gone.

Is there a fix?

your prospecting skill is lvl 8
you will not get the correct answers with out it being higher.

Yes but before the patch a stone ore is in that exact spot. All other ores have remained where they are.

I started a new game. It's the same: All the other ores---copper and iron---have remained where they are. Only the stone ores have vanished.

Or did the patch reset their locations? If so, it did so with only the stone ores as everything else has remained unaltered.

to get the true value, open construction menu, then move the stone mine around
that will give you true reading. its kinda of a exploit to get around the low science/prospecting skill.

Thanks but I do believe this is a bug---all the other ores are there. I even went so far as Squin and all the ores that were present before the patch are still there. 100%. All of them except the stone ores.

EDIT: I think this guy has a similar case: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kenshi/comment ... _with_f12/

ore nodes are different, those are physical objects.
all i can say now is to zip up and upload your save folder with the issue and let the Devs look it over. so they can see if its a bug or not or just misinterpreted readings on your end.

Apologies for the late reply Hatsune but I had ISP problems for nearly two weeks and I had some RL issues before that. Anyway, yeah, it's confirmed. It was a bug. The last three patches didn't produce this anomaly so I guess the first of the three fixed that. Thanks! ^_^
