My Garru won't eat food and is about to die

Greetings,

I'm enjoying the game a lot thank you.

I just purchased my 1st Garru pup and it refuses to eat.
I've tried Raw meat, dried meat and several other things and he refuses to eat.
I am putting it in his backpack or holding it on another character in his squad.
I tried just dropping it in front of him and he didn't eat it.

Am I doing something wrong or is this not working as intended?

please zip up and upload the affected save folder so teh Devs can look it over.

if the file goes over 10 megs then sue a cloud storage service to host the file then share the link to it here.

I just discovered the AI options. Feed animals box was unticked.

Glad it had a happy ending! I don't have a Garru myself yet but was looking up what they ate in case they needed a special diet. Phew!
