I have loaded, imported, ctrl+shift+f11, verified game files, no matter what i do, i have many areas in and out of my outpost where the pathing is broken and people will just stop moving and doing their jobs only to sit in these areas. Is the area i built in just cursed?
Sometimes people will stop doing their jobs to run to a certain location in my outpost and just sit there as well. Ive also noticed this issue in some other instances away from my outpost.

Ive also noticed AI can phase through my walls by just quite literally running through/into them and the enemy spawns on the top of the wall. That as well as platoons of people spawning inside the walls of my outpost, and people flat out running through my gate.

The pathing is still getting worse, despite my best efforts. Characters will now switch between having a job to "aimless" rapidly, and they just kinda twitch in place. There are even more spaces in my base where people will just go and sit. Its to the point now where i cannot continue to even play on this save. I dont even know if a new game will fix it, because from what i understand, thats what importing does? Will starting a new game even help? And is there a way to export my characters and their inventories at least to an entirely new game? I have put 100 hours on this game in literally the last week, and im dying to continue, but this issue is unfortunately game breaking.

Okay, so now any people from any raid looking to come interact with my outpost, gets stuck in one position. Theres about 40 people standing about 100 meters away from my outpost that have been gathering there in that spot from the last 3 raids/traders. They have also started the bug where it will rapidly switch between "aimless" and their other action. Pic attached.

i was able to attack them and get them unstuck, and lure them to my base, where they proceeded to get confused again and stop moving. Another pic attached.

Ive observed it more closely, and watched more pathing get screwed up, and it looks like theres just these points on the map that are like magnets, or black holes. If someone gets close to them, they stop doing their order, and they switch from "aimless" and their other move order rapidly. For your own people, you have to manually move them with close range move orders. This included my people, and all AI from raids to wandering traders.

This was previously a steam discussion that i created a few days ago, but i was told i could post it here with the save file attached. I also think its worth mentioning i have tried to import, verify, and uninstall all my mods as well to rule out that being the issue. It still persists.

Thanks again for whoever looks into this issue. I just want to be able to play the game. After picking this game up about a week ago, ive completely fell in love with it. That being said, if anyone has any idea of any other temporary fixes, im willing to try ANYTHING.

This is being caused buy a combination of things.
Mainly because you built your town on a marked road. The AI is supposed to handle this but there are other aspects causing the AI to reset in your case.

You can probably get round it by making a mod to move the problematic road. Use the shift-F12 editor under navmesh tools > roads.
Or you can move your base. It may be possible by just removing part around the copper resource.

I ended up moving outposts after trying everything to fix it. But now, after spending 50 more hours on a new outpost, my new outpost now has the same issue. If you have any other ideas, could you please explain to me why this is happening and how to fix it? I tried everything you told me to do last time. Didn't change anything. This is clearly going to keep happening and i really need a solution for it. Id appreciate it. Ill upload the save file again. Its happening everytime my people try to cross into the room with the weapon furnace. Get someone to try to make a weapon or build something in that side and you'll see it. Switching from aimless to their job over and over again.

Edit: The save is too big so im uploading it to zippy share. https://www101.zippyshare.com/v/5ULjrMHD/file.html

Since going experimental I have also been getting very bad pathfinding issues, Nomad traders are stuck in multiple places, Black Dragon Ninja raid has now not appeared, and it's been days since the warning.
Never had this issue prior to the experimental, I have added one mod since but that only adds dialog, I am going to try and opt out of the experimental build and see how it goes.
