Crash when jumping from away squad to own-town squad.

I had been switching back and forth between a squad that was in the middle of the Swamp and my town, just north of the swamp. Both had just finished combat. I sent one of my Swamp squad members to enter a shop and while that was happening I switched to my town's squad window and double-pressed 1 to jump to that character. A few seconds into loading the screen froze and I got the Windows error tone and the Kenshi 'please email us' pop-up. A few seconds after that I got a second, application error window. It took a little while to find Windows' snipping tool as the Start frame was all black, possible collateral damage from the crash. By the time I'd launched it the Kenshi window had gone grey, then black.

I had been playing for 2-3 hours when it happened. Rainmeter also crashed (not a normal thing).

And it just happened again. Same circumstances (same laptop, several hours of play, moving from away squad to home) only this time with no input from me after the double 1 press. The town started to load and almost immediately (less than 2 seconds) I got the crash pop-up. Only other difference from yesterday is before playing the game today I used Steam to move the game folders from the laptop's hdd to its ssd (both internal).

And I forgot to mention in my first post - no mods in use.
