Constant crashing in Swamp (1.0.37)

Sure I realise my GTX 650 is most likely the largest weakness here, I just can't believe I end up crashing so much now that my main character is in the swamp. I'll add that I have 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 4 core I5-4440 @3.10 GHz. Overall the game can be rocky but it still is very much playable for the most part for me after a bit of loading every once in a while when entering new areas or loading.

No idea what the hell is happening but roughly 5 to 10 minutes after loading I set my main character to stealth run through the swamp towards the middle. I've tried multiple things to try and make the game not freak out to such a degree like pausing every once in a while, looking at the characters in my base while he runs in the swamp, having him slowly move from one place to another instead of just clicking on the map and waiting him to go there.

I've had some crashes that seem similar to this before but nothing as consistent or persistent as this, i've tried the above things several times over several days and got back the same result each time. Right before I entered the swamp I had even reduced the graphics to improve performance (also when the streak of crashes started occuring) but it's a fairly imperceptible difference.

I'll also add that for a while It seems like I was able to just explore the swamp without any kind of crash trap of doom but that was during the night so perhaps the lighting may have some role to play although even when looking away where there is no reflections (around the specific character in the swamp or party members far off in the desert) or similar doesn't alleviate the problem.

Sorry for the late reply was caught up with school.

Also i'll add that 10.0.40 didn't seem to fix this issue, still crashing same place.
