Unable to Save or Exit

Hello,

I'm new to the world of Kenshi and I've been encountering this problem all week. The game will only save during the earliest hour-or-so after first launching, then it will suddenly forget how to auto-save, manually save, overwrite, or even close.

I have tried just about everything suggested in other forums, such as double-checking folder permissions (logging in as Admin), overwriting older saves with the "current" folder contents (which did not work and gave me "missing zone" errors), switching off Read-only and Controlled Folder Access features, and whitelisting Kenshi in my anti-virus program on the off chance it was being blocked access to these folders.

Needless to say, nothing has worked. I can still save after a fresh launch, meaning the game can access its local save folders perfectly fine for about an hour, then it eventually forgets how to save and even close.

Any help is appreciated.

can you include the save.log. its located in the main folder.
