EDIT: It turns out that Corsair iCue allows the user to configure the polling rate for the mouse. Mine was set to 1000 Hz. When switched to 250 Hz, the problem no longer occurs ever. I found this out, because it seems out of nowhere that any game I play that uses a mouse cursor will lag when the cursor moves. Kenshi was the first game to have this occur in. Kenshi is NOT the problem in this case, so don't worry about it. iCue is, as usual, having problems.
As the title says, when I have Corsair iCue software on, the game will freeze so long as the mouse is moving. Of course, if the mouse is not moving then the game will run just fine. I can work around this issue by exiting iCue, and the game will work just fine. I'm unsure if there are specific settings within iCue being configured that cause the issue (lighting effects, macros, etc), or if iCue as a whole causes the issue. This works better if iCue is closed prior to launching the game. If iCue is closed while the game is running, I will temporarily experience freezing when the mouse is moving, but after awhile it seems the issue fixes itself (perhaps there are processes running in the background involved with exiting out of iCue).
I am unsure if this issue is specific to my mouse, so for more information my mouse is a Corsair M65.
Thank you for your time and thanks for making an amazing game!
