Repeated Crashes when trying to load my game.

I'm playing the latest steam version, my current run is several hours in with no serious issues but now all of a sudden I can't load my save.
In fact, sometimes the game is even crashing on the main menu. Originally I figured it was an issue with my alt-tabbing in and out (required to fix the wonky resolution) but it's happening even without.

Usually I just get the message to attach the crashdump (attached) but one time I got one about not having enough Vram, which is absurd. I've got 16gb of ram.

Not sure what's going on. I'm posting this then going to validate my steam files.

Problem seemed fixed for a week, (after upgrading graphics drivers and fiddling with settings) but now is back in exactly the same state, despite me changing nothing.

My system is still the same as it was, my game-settings are the same as they were and my drivers havn't changed since the update that 'fixed' the problem I was having.

I don't know why it's doing this.
