Kenshi is not working

This is the problem I'm facing, my game crashed yesterday while I was playing the game and I have no idea how to fix it.

As the error states, it is best to load an older save if you have one. It sounds like the game crashed while saving, so that save may be partially corrupt and missing data.

How can I load the old save, I can't log into the game

If you can't get in to the load game screen, you may need to manually remove the corrupt save.

Saves can be found here by default:
C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\kenshi\save

Note: You may need to enable viewing of hidden files and folders on Windows to see the AppData folder.

I have done this several times but I keep getting the same error with the same file name. I even deleted and reinstalled the game and it didn't work, and I also deleted and recreated the save file in AppData, but that didn't work either. Maybe there are things I need to do through FCS, I'm not sure. This is the first time I've encountered this kind of error.

Do you have "user save location" disabled in the options menu? Your save may instead be in the game's installation folder.

You can check where your saves are by hovering over that option with your mouse in the options menu.
