I've hit a point where every time after loading my quicksave (tried 6 times in a row), within a minute or two at >>>> speed it will crash consistently. It doesn't matter what I do in the game, I even tried leaving my party standing in place and it still crashed.

Attached are the crash dump file and the savegame.

I've had a few random crashes previously which didn't happen again after starting the game back up and loading the save, but it crashes every time now.

By the way, one of my earlier crashes can probably be reproduced, though I haven't tried. How it happened: My character was wearing a large backpack which was open and had several items in it. I then grabbed a large trader's backpack from a merchant's inventory and dropped it over my equipped large backpack to replace it. The game immediately crashed, presumably either because the backpack was not empty or because it was open.

I can't reproduce the crash from your save, and the crash dump gave me a confusing result. Can you send me more? delete your old crash dump so you know when you get a new one and send it to me. I might be able to get more answers.

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what's the trick to opening the crash dump files? I had no luck opening them as standard ZIP files.

there actually .dmp files so you have t rename them. They open in Visual C++ 2010 express for me.
