High loading times and region crossing

Has anyone else noticed extremely high initial loading times and then very big lag spikes crossing "regions" ingame? The loading usually takes around a minute which seems extremely high compared to a few updates ago.

I think this is the worst bug out of the lot... it must makes moving around so tedious when you freeze for so long at regular intervals.
It doesnt help that the game doesnt let you unfocus the window while its frozen.

I can't reproduce this, longest loading time is about 12 seconds for a town. Building something makes no difference. Can you guys try and figure out what the trigger is? Mattk50, do you still get the problem if you import/start a new game?

I've only been playing on imported games so far, trying a new game means it will take awhile to get the money to actually build a structure to test so i may or may not update you on that.
edit:
Maybe it has something to do with building stuff on the "borders" between loading triggers if they exist? Also, this happens everywhere in the world, not just near built buildings.

Can you send me a savegame where you get the trouble?

Aye
its the same savegame i uploaded for the ghost town, but technically speaking this savegame has had all the bugs i've posted so far. Something tells me I should slow down a bit on the reports before you collapse from bug hunting exhaustion...

started up a new game, was lag free, built a building, still lag free, built furniture, still lag free. built more buildings, lag free, dismantled a building to invoke the furniture bug, still lag free. *shrug*
new games dont seem to have the issue.
Edit: the game crashed and the buildings got teleported under the map, the lag then started again. more info in this thread: http://www.lofigames.com/phpBB3/viewtop ... =15&t=1232

The new version doesn't seem to have this problem anymore, but i can't build any buildings because of the crash, so if the lag is building related it could still be lurking.
Maybe it had something to do with the crashes that were fixed?

found a workaround for building buildings. Built an outpost sIII, placed 7 bed foundations, 3 training dummies, an armor stand, a weapon stand, and a chest without building them and then shortly after the lag started again.
