[0.93.20] Crumplejon dialogue bug -spoilers-

I think I have found a bug with the dialogue of Crumplejon

When trying to recruit crumplejon the conversation does something strange instead of proceeding.

The easiest way to show this is to just type down all the things that get said.

Crumps: [A shrivelled, sinewy old man glares at you with one eye. He looks expectant in a weary sort of way, like he's already bored with you, but he's got to talk to you anyway.]

me: Who are you?

Crumps: Crumblejon.

me: Why do they call you "Crumblejon"?

Crumps: Because of my crumbling bones. That's enough questions now.

me: Can you actually lift that weapon?

Crumps: Join my squad!

me: [...]
And here is where it loops around back to
me: Why do they call you "Crumplejon"

I'm experiencing the same issue.

I remember the first time I picked up Crumplejon you had to annoy him with requests, maybe this new dialog menu just improved his stonewalling.

But then again I don't know a lot about the Forgotten constructor set ,just trying to help.



But according to this all the red text is text the player is can say but actually it's Crumplejon saying the "Join my squad!" line although i don't see it anywhere in his dialogue

Anybody experiencing this using mods? And if so, which ones? I don't see anything that could be causing this in the base game, but all it would have taken is 1 tiny slip up from a modder to break it.

I experienced this in the main game without using mods.

And nothing in the dialogue code for Crumblejon says anything about him saying join me!

I don't quite understand what is going on but I have been trying to mod up a little code just to give a direct line to hire instead of going through the whole tree. but I don't know enough about modding dialogue to do it myself anyway...tried to add something but it never showed up in the dialogue in game.

Before encountering the bug i have not used any mods whatsoever.

One of my friends has the same issue and he never even opened the forgotten construction set.
