all player characters disappeared

After the newest update when I loaded in to the game all my characters were gone. It still let me load in but i had no one i could command or anything. They were all gone from my base. I tried importing that save and previous ones on this save file and no one showed up. Is there anything I can do? Is my save just broken? I spent about 80 hours on this save and that'd suck really bad to lose them all

can you zip up and upload the effected save-game folder before they disappeared after import.
also include the Kenshi.log from after you imported and they all disappeared.

In case my comment helps, here it is.

If all characters you recruited were from a mod, they will be deleted if you do not load the mod. I lost about three characters because I forgot to load a mod.
