Lo-Fi Games

I purchased Kenshi via Steam a few days ago, but it fails to load. My steam says it is running for a few seconds, then flashes synging, and then nothing. I've tried the usual things like rebooting and uninstalling/reinstalling, I've tried to use the new beta and old versions, and I have verified the integrity of the files via steam.

Specs:

GeForce GTX 760
Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.07GHz
16 GB RAM
Windows 7 64 bit

can you zip up the Kenshi.log and upload that please.
also try restarting your computer. there's been some issues with Steam lately and restarting tends to fix them.

Try running the game directly from the exe file.
The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\kenshi_x64.exe

So I get the

C:\Windows\system32\MSVCP100.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again.....

error message when I try that.

Where is this located?

default install directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi

Try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package x64.
You can find the installer on Kenshi folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x64.exe

Ok, so anyone that runs into this problem in the future. This issue was with my Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package x64. Now, if you have the problem of this program not installing, this could be due to newer version, i.e. 2012, 2013 etc. Uninstall these versions along with 2010. If 2010 will not install then it is due to a certain program holding onto priority of it, or something. Microsoft has a program that will fix this and allow you to uninstall the program. Reinstalling 2010 should now fix the problem. Thanks to Zodd for helping troubleshoot the issues!
