[0.98.9] Skimmers ignore stealth?

Here I have my character running through desert in stealth (stealth skill is 97) and skimmers are detecting me from the distance they surely shouldn't. Eh... also some rebel farmers did same thing prior. And some sand ninjas after that.



Notice how the eye is still blue.

And they keep chasing me, though the distance is very long. Until I ran too far and they just disappear/unload.

I mean, there's no way you detect a dude in sneak of 97 at night, in a dust storm, even if he bumps into you.

Reported this already some time ago. But this is not all. Biggest problem is after they see you once, stealth "breaks" completely. You character gets up even not in combat (or get up and confront the enemies - even worst and simple kills); if you refresh the stealth command after enemies give up they will agroo again - it's kinda confusing.

In general, stealth only works well with NPC's that, by default, are not hostile. Skimmers are kinda rare, try using stealth in The Gut and you gonna see all the bugs in a minute or so.

Yeah, after refreshing stealth they aggro again. All as you say.

So has this been fixed or acknowledged? This is a frustrating bug and a reason I haven't played much.

I've been playing in the Great Desert area the other day, stealthing alot, and to me stealth worked fine-ish.

The only issue i've noticed was that the activation of stealth oftenly breaks target immediately. So Skimmer is targeting me from some considerable distance, but loses interest as soon as i'm activating stealth. And targeting me back immediately if i unstealthing. And losing target if i stelath again. And so on. Funny.

But they surely wasn't detecting me from the distances they shouldn't.
