I have a problem with rescuing. My characters go and pick up the wounded but they don't put them in bed no matter how far or close to bed they are. And I mean beds in my settlement not NPC owned ones.
Another problem is that when I manually order them one by one to put wounded in beds, wounded characters are getting out of the bed as soon as they regain consciousness rather than healing fully so I have to order them once again to go to bed one by one. This creates huge amounts of tidious and unnecessary micromanagement.
Any clues what might be causing that?
[0.98.16] rescue command not working

This part only: when they regain conscience they get up but if they have job selected without any tasks (empty job tab or no available storage to complete the task) and they are in your settlement area they will go to bed and "fully" heal (sometimes they get up with 70-99 just randomly).
This was the behavior last I used it (and with working rescue) - but this was in 0.98.8, so I can't confirm.
No, sadly they really don't. Sure sometimes couple of people will go to bed for a while but almost never restore full hp. And even if they do those 2 or 3 characters don't change a fact that there are like 16 more wounded guards that just stand there after a battle, aimless and don't bother going to bed.Kwikwilyaqa wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 11:38 pm

How hard would that be to make simple "GO TO BED" command that would force character to lay in the nearest bed full hp or not? Maybe it would be better idea than to rely on broken AI?
And as far as rescue goes v0.98.18 is still broken
It's not a problem with a single game or save. I've started couple of new games after I came back to Kenshi somewhere around v0.98.8.
This game breaks my heart
Not that I expect anyone to care. I just have to vent from time to time

0.98 caused some major annoyances and is taking so much time to fix it all (it's a long chain of bugs) - I feel your pain. But soon (I hope) it goes stable and GG - and remember we talking about the experimental branch with tons of little changes and additions, so bugs are expected!
The problem with game developing is always THE one: staff (and cash as correlated). Kenshi has to few people working and fixing stuff, but it's almost in that moment when the they can actually fix and improve the game instead of developing, experimenting and creating.

For the love of Orkan... I was so happy... Another year later. Kenshi is finally released v1 and all. For 20 or so hours of gameplay everything was FLAWLESS! And all of the sudden... Yeah you probably know already what am I about to say
.
God damn freaking rescue !!! It stopped working. Just like that. All was good. Characters picking up fallen allies and putting them in bed. Next minute "NOPE! I'll just pick him up and stand there! Is there a bed in our outpost right next to me? THE Very same bed I've laid my fallen comrades to so many times before? PFFF who cares!"
Is there any way to get my hand on AI log or something? Anything? What on earth trigers that crap? Everything is fine then next minute AI stops working. Some kind of script that triggers under some condisions that screws everything? How can I find out why it's happening??
Not sure if that matters but they do go to bed to heal themselves. They just don't put rescued chars in it anymore.
