Lo-Fi Games

So I have a question. I have the non trial version of the game, I can hire boatloads of people but my attack, defense, and medical skills wont go past 20. Am I doing it wrong or is there more to it thank that? I.E. Dexterity has to be X or something?

Haven't gotten there yet buddy, highest level my characters are at is 17.
The new patch had created a few bugs, might be one of them.

Hmm I was stuck at 20 on the old build as well I'm just wondering if it installed properly now. Desura has been acting up and i can't launch Kenshi through Desura proper I'm just wondering if it didn't install properly. That being said I totally forgot to save my CD Key and am kinda hesitant to uninstall and reinstall at this point

Didn't you get a CD key sent through e-mail O.o?
There is a way to get to your CD key if you go through your computer's registration.
Bought mine directly through the site

its because the lvl 20 is the line inbetween trial and non trial, so i think its a little bit more hard

Would be nice if there was a progress bar for that too, I guess.

Unfortunately no Desura in all their infinite wisdom doesnt sent you an email with the CD Kky you have to log in and like I said me and Desura are having issues at the moment.

You mean getting past 20? I've been grinding it for about 8 hours now has not budged

Well I've been doing that and raiding cities for a few hours. Desura wants me to log in through my the browser and its been....not so cooperative but i did manage to log in and get my code before my browser locked up so its all good. Guess I'm going to try a fresh install. Maybe there was something left over from the demo that was locking me out.

Yeah, it sounds like it. If you are raiding cities your skill should quickly rise. A lot of the inhabitants have skills around 30 and you should be leveling up.

Some thread ages ago mentioned that you had to input the code directly into kenshi and not via desura. Am I remembering that right?

Well I'll know in about 10 minutes completely removed Kenshi from my system (With the exception of my save files) and clean Kenshi Alpha install.

Yes I entered the code through Kenshi itself I only got the key through Desura

Edit: I stand corrected Desura decided to lock up on me

Have the same problem here too. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the stats are still stuck at 20.

Completely new install, including saves (I guess I didn't save the right folders) Rushed through my medical skill and it abruptly stops at level 20.....Any ideas?

I have the same problem, I think it came in the later updates because I got my medic skill on my medic at 38, and my other character I only trained kata skill with is at 24.(insertRandom) and wont go up any further, so the only way for me to raid cities is to get a pack of 16 all level 20 skill characters, and that isn't the best way :p

But I'll try to reinstall and if it's not fixed it's just a gamebug that needs to be reported, but I think he already knows about it.

EDIT: It didn't work to reinstall the game. I think this only can be fixed my the developer.

Try uploading your save folder in the meantime until Chris shows up. Not much else we can do.

Sorry it was a bug, already fixed in the current update.
