Lo-Fi Games

I attempted to save (over-write). I got an error that said "Failed to save" or something similar.
So I attempt to make a new save... didn't seem to do anything, but I didn't get any further errors.
At which point I just tried to close Kenshi. Get a message "Closing Kenshi" or something similar for a bit. But the game doesn't close.
Repeat. Saw the same message but still not closing.
So I tabbed out and right clicked, "close window". No dice.
Finally closed it with task manager.
Reopened it. In an unrelated minor point of annoyance, I have to change the resolution each time to 1600 x 1200. It always sets it at open to 1600 x 1080. Every. Single. Time.
Tried to load "Current" as that would be a little further along than the last manual save. An error report generated.

Reloaded the game again. "Current" isn't showing on the load menu. But it certainly did last time.

Reloaded the save that I'd attempted to over-write in the first place. No issue loading it. Also I just noticed how tiny that current file was. Clearly nothing there anyhow. But it did show up before in my load menu so I had tried to use it.

Still I just got another crash a after playing for not very long. No crash dump generated so I just put all the logs into a 7z myself. Might as well provide it too.

I'm seeing errors involving the save/current_temp folder. Try manually deleting that if it is there. It is supposed to be deleted automatically.
The save/current folder is another temporary folder. It appearing in the save list is a side effect of failing to finish saving. It being empty is normal.
If it still fails, can you upload kenshi_info.log again just after you get the save failed message.
