[0.98.53] Random Crash while hiring in bar

As the title suggests, I was just minding my business hiring ppls when a wild crash appeared.
It was very effective!
Worthy to note that while the hiring is happening at stoat, only one of my characters is there and the rest are in my town a ways away. Hence, the game has loaded multiple regions of the map.
