Taxman comes twice

So I have built just north east of Heng. I paid my 3000 Cats like a dutiful empire citizen until the day the collector asked for 4500... I was short. Three days later he came back wanting 6000.. which I paid. Ever since then I get 2 tax collectors a week. I'm all for civic duty, but that seems like a bit much.

Are you sure it's the same tax man?

I build south of Heng and get visits from UC tax man, trader's tax man and black dog tax man.

If you open the faction tab, under events you'll see the scheduled visits and who is visiting.

Alternatively, turn in enough bounties to raise faction relations to 50 and no more tax man.
