[1.10] Rocks vanish after base building

I built a new outpost and placed some small wind generators on rocks. After leaving the base and getting back, the rocks vanished and the wind generators hanged in the air - see screenshot.

A few days later one of the rocks reappeared. In the meantime I had dismanteled the generators in the air and rebuilt them on the ground. Now some of them are inside the rock.
