Crashes entering Stobe's Gamble

This is a recurring issue that I believed could be resolved with a new game start (after months of not playing from 'loss of save game' rage quit).
My old save file would crash to desktop after either jumping to a character that was in the region that crashes, or manually traveling to the region with a different character. After abandoning that save file, I created a new game. Now, with the new game, anytime I enter Stobe's Gamble, the game crashes immediately to desktop. I believe it to be the same issue from MONTHS prior, and am unsure how to fix it. Attached is the link to my dropbox with the zipped kenshi_info.txt file.
