Crash when upgrading Farm

My settlement is at border of Border Zone and Vain north of Squinn. The farm is in Vain and is possibly outside settlement boundaries while the settlement is in BZ and when I upgrade greenfruit farm from M->L I get a CTD. It is a recurring issue and happens every time I try it. I have not tried an import, yet.
