Lo-Fi Games

So I downloaded some mods, mostly armour mods and whatnot, but a few common mods that change the gameworld in significant ways. I have the most up to date version I think because I just recently got the game a week or so ago, Nov 2019. Anyways here are the last few mods in my mod list order from top to bottom:


- Dark Ui
- Reduced Weather Effects
- Faction Caravans
- Bandit Disharmony
- Racial Diversity
- Armour Variations
- Patch Dread Gear and Armour Variations
- shops have more blueprints
- Shopping Economy
- Reactive World

Those are the last mods in the list and the only ones that affect the world at large. the rest are armour mods and some quality of life changes like extra storage. I think the issue is with one of these mods, idk how to read the crashdump so im posting here! Thanks in advance!!

So I have to admit I wasn't as concise as I could have been with my first post. I did however fix my problem. Ill explain.

The issue was with the Mod Armour Variations. There was an error popup that stated [ResourceLoader::TextureLoadData::getTexture()] Error loading texture: platedcargopantsColor.dds. Exception: OGRE EXCEPTION(80070057:RenderingAPIException): Error creating texture Error Description:invalid parameters were passed. in D3D11Texture::_create2DTex at ..\..\..\RenderSystems\Direct3D11\src\OgreD3D11Texture.cpp (line 562) crashing the game. All i did was go into the files and replace the textures for the vanilla ones. I found it in data/items/armour/pants/ the two files i replaced were "f_pants_plated_color.dds" and also "f_pants_c.dds" You can also do this through the FCS.

Open FCS, find plated cargopants, open them, open their material and leave the window opened. Open cargopants, open their material. Copy the path for color from the material of normal cargopants to plated cargopants.

NB. This will also make the plate part on plated cargopnats very dark.

The author of the mod is also working on a fix for this issue there is others posting about it on the steam workshop page. Anyways I appreciate the kenshi community and modders and developers and thank you guys for a fantastic game!
