Game crashes when I try to hop over my squad across the world

I have a base in the holy nation and I'm starting another base in Darkfinger. My game loads just fine and everything is dandy. I can see my squad building in Darkfinger by the fact that I can see them using Engineer when i click their portrait, but the instant I right click the portrait to go to them, my game seizes up and crashes instantly. Funny thing though, I ran one of them a decent distance away, but still in Darkfinger, and I was able to right click to him, but then at a certain point, it just seized up again and instantly crashed. I've tried importing the save game and verifying files but it didn't work.
