Finally, a crash dump after years of not generating one...
The last thing I remember is that I managed to get to Mongrel, found and recruited Beep, and tried to interact with the crossbow shopkeeper.
[2/13/2021 3:24 PM EDIT] Well that's strange. It happened again, only this time I was trying to hire people in a bar. I recently quick-saved like about 5 seconds ago before the interact crash happened again
[1.0.51] Crashed while trying to interact with people in Mongrel w/ Dump(s)
Greetings everyone
I have a similar problem with the game crashing when initiating dialogue on a playthrough that was fine for dozens of hours until then. Now I can't seem to talk to any NPC without the game crashing.
Don't know if it's linked but I was just returning from Bad Teeth with the local High Inquisitor on my shoulder and delivering him to Shek-controlled Stack. Tried to talk to a roaming Tech Hunters squad on my way, game crashed. Reloaded, got to Stack, put the zealot in a cage on top of city's HQ, talked to the barman and crashed. Reloaded, talked to the barman, crashed again. Then I thought it was time for a bug report :p
Here's my latest .dmp : Edit: Seems like selecting the NPC with a left click before interacting helps. Maybe it has to do with loading the character portrait/inventory and linking it to the dialog box ?
