[FIXED] 1.0.55 crash
Posted: Thu Jan 06, 2022 2:33 am
Oh hello there!
The game crashes at random moments. Usually after 5-30 minutes after loading the save.
I tried various graphics settings, including the lowest ones, and I came to the conclusion that it does not affect.
What is strange, sometimes OS crashes into the blue screen.
Vanilla, without mods.
I attached the dump.

Win 10 64
UPD!
I apologize for my English, I hope this will help someone
Game crash fix:
1) deleting new_overlay.x.x.png in \data\newland\land\overlaymaps\
2) checking game files in steam
In game OS crash (blue screen)
Judging by the entries in the OS logs, the problem lies in one of the following:
-Compatibility of FX-processors with the game
-Small amount of video memory
Despite the fact that at high texture settings there were more than 60 fps, reducing all settings to a minimum significantly reduced the frequency of crash.
Here are a few more settings that can have a positive impact (according to my observations):
-Playing in windowed mode
-Change the save recording folder to the one in the steam (in game settings)
-Updating video card drivers
-Integrity check via cmd DISM
-Repairing libraries (Microsoft Visual C++ and others)
-Turning off the automatic overclocking of the processor, lowering the frequency of the north bridge of the motherboard in BIOS
