First thing you should do is reinstall all the exe files located here:
Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\dependencies

If that doesn't work, you can try Microsoft's DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer.

And finally if that doesn't work, you can try to find which DLL file you're missing with this program.

moving the mfc100u file to the folder with the .exe file helped
