Please tell me how to resolve

Unfortunately, nothing of note in the logs. Typically, no error crashes are either corrupt data or a mod issue. I'd suggest the tests here to see if you can narrow it down and possible fix it.

Did you try all the import tests and such? Disabling auto-saves might prevent some future corruptions, but it won't fix a current corruption.

What does import tests point to?

They help identify if corruption is the problem or not. An import without buildings clears all level data, so if importing without buildings fixes the crash, that means it's in the level data.

The guide then has further steps for tracking down and removing just the corrupt data, instead of the full import that wipes everything.

I purchased the game during a sale recently and haven't performed any additional actions since then. Would it be necessary to perform the specified tasks?

Possibly, it's impossible to be certain if it's the problem or not until they've been done.

Data corruptions can happen at virtually any time. They're far more common with longer games, but it doesn't mean they can't happen to new players too.

If it's a relatively new save, simply importing from the main menu without buildings may be the ideal way to solve the problem anyway. As the main downside is losing any buildings you own. A new save wouldn't have of those, if any.

I'm experiencing the same symptoms with a new game as well.

I crashed just walking.

Looks like an access violation from a directx file. Could be a corrupt file, or just an incorrect version. I'd try repairing your directx installation, see if that helps.
