Lo-Fi Games

Hello,

I play on a laptop. When I installed Kenshi and during my first 100 hours of gameplay, I was using my second screen with a resolution of 1920*1080p. The issue is that if I don't have this screen connected to my PC, the game crashes on startup. I have already tried reinstalling the game or repairing it, but I have not found a solution to date. Attached is the bug report.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any fix either. The only workaround I've heard of from people experiencing this issue is keeping the second screen connected when starting kenshi, then you can disconnect it afterwards.

Besides that, all we can do is hope the devs can figure out what the cause is and fix it in a future patch.

I don't have my second screen with me. Anyway, I managed to work around this bug : at the game launch, I selected windowed mode instead of fullscreen. This worked, and the game is functioning normally again. Thank you for your response.

Interesting, thanks for letting me know how you worked around it. I'll try to remember this for next time if it gets reported again.
