interesting "stealing" bug

i went to go sell some items to a shop keeper and somehow gained access to his inventory screen. i then was able to make him drop his backpack and armor. i gained an entire trade item shop keepers backpack.
it was in the town of i believe its named clownsteady. i THINK it was the shop keeper closest to the door.
