How to install the upcomming test patch

yeah so like the title says wondering what to do, as the last one gave me an error and didn't work, do we overwrite the game, unzip into the main folder, or is it a separate program entirely? Speculation excepted,

and I know its early to post this but hopefully this will alleviate much of the stress of downloading the test patch (allowing more testers), and clear out all of the posts in the last thread about the patch not working, or what to do with it.'

How do we even download the 3.9 update? if it even out yet??

its not out yet, demidevil is being preemptive and confusing.

It'll most likely be an installer, like usual.
If you want to back up your previous version just make a new folder somewhere on your HDD, and copy the old kenshi folder in it, before updating.
