Lo-Fi Games

I have had multiple CTDs while saving and loading a game and upon entering the title screen. I have attached the crash dump. Thank you for your hard work and effort! This is a fun game!

EDIT: Had to do some more looking around in game to confirm, but after the first crash the NPCs from the village of Skinner's Roam and Fort Simion in the south have disappeared. I tried to upload my save game so that you could have a look but it told me that the file was too large.


EDIT: Meynolt encountered the disappearing NPC issue as well and suggests a fix for it in his post:

You are not very clear on how these crashes actually occurred.

Note that these are known issues:
1. pressing ANY key on the title/menu screen (0.39)
2. Using quickload within a few seconds of doing a quicksave will create a crash. (0.33 and 0.39)

Please confirm if those are the cause of your crashes, or provide more info on what you were doing.

My apologies for not being clear enough. The crash on the title screen was most likely exactly that. I remember pressing a key on accident. I was unaware of it being a know bug. The crashes while quickloading happened once as you stated, within a couple seconds of a quicksave, and the other time I was standing still in town when I hit quickload and it crashed. I was quickloading hoping that loading a previous game would restore the NPCs to the town, but it did not.
